The beautiful Bradford-on-Avon is a town and civil parish in west Wiltshire, England. The town’s canal, historic buildings, shops, pubs and restaurants make it popular with tourists and history of the town can be traced back to Roman origins.
This commissioned work depicts Tithe Barn dated circa 1330s, although there is no known documentary evidence for its construction. A passing low flying hot air balloon majestically hangs mid air in the shape of a love heart, perfectly capturing visiting patrons feelings towards the area and its surround quite perfectly. The stillness of the day only interrupted in the distance by the vapour trail and shhhh from the engines of a passing jet.
