Venice
These are just three of a great many photographs taken by James in Venice and they manage to perfectly capture the romance, colour and vibrancy of this wonderful city.
The first, a flat grey image, is taken from the water’s edge with wooden stilts protruding in the foreground and set against a typically Venetian background. In the middle, we see a Gondolier taking time out of his busy day to catch up with the news. Whilst the third photograph, shot in the early morning, shows a boat full of rowers making the most of some rare peace and quiet on the usually hectic Grand Canal.
THE PRINT
This signed set is one of a limited edition. It’s recorded on Hahnemühle stock via a large format mimeograph and generally referred to as Giclée prints of premium quality. The paper is white 100% a-cellulose with a distinct textured surface and the premium matt inkjet coating more than meets the highest industry standards vis-à-vis density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness, while preserving the extraordinary touch and feel of genuine art paper.
