The Museum of Islamic Art

James came across this wonderfully atmospheric scene during a walk along the beach in Doha. And once he’d done the initial sketch, he was keen for the finished image to portray the museum just as he’d seen it – in blinding desert sunshine with the skyline of the city’s financial district in the distance. In the foreground, a traditional fishing vessel passes by, gently easing its way out of the harbour to the open sea – a striking symbol of the past set against the modern present.

The paper is white 100% a-cellulose with a distinct textured surface and the premium matt inkjet coating more than meets the highest industry standards vis-à-vis density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness, while preserving the extraordinary touch and feel of genuine art paper. The editions depicted on Iconic Reserve are not representative of scale and solely for the purpose of suggestive display.
