One fine day, whilst journeying through the beautiful Sussex countryside en route to a friend’s house, James inadvertently took a wrong turning. He found himself being tantalised by glimpses of gorgeous oast houses amidst undulating fields of golden wheat, basking in the late afternoon sunshine.
Pleasantly surprised by his chance encounter, James returned to the area numerous times and was inspired to create this stunning tourist poster promoting the picturesque village of Mayfield. Ironically, he was still putting the finishing touches to it on the morning of the royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
