Porsche RSR Paul Ricard Testing

The Circuit Paul Ricard is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. And what a track!James was working with an official Porsche team aspiring to the Carrera Cup who were racing an RSR, a monster of track and technology and hailed as a modern classic. The unique combination of deep graphic lines, the heat of the day combined with being immersed in a rarified setting behind the scenes sparks creativity on every level. The 35 RSR featured here taking the track by storm, coming out of a sweeping curve and taking the racing line to give everything down the long straight is something every race enthusiast knows well.
